Hi, I am Swaraj Gurunath Naik,
born in 1986 and a resident of Goa, India.
I am an alumni of Don Bosco High School and graduated from Goa College of Arts,
with a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts for Painting.
I'm happily married to my loving wife Trupti Naik and
a father to two beautiful children.

I currently serve in the Goa police and was recently awarded DGP's Insignia in recognition of my valuable contribution and devotion to duty on the occasion of Goa Police Raising Day, held on 20th Dec 2022 and was also awarded Goa Police Swabhimaan Award,
at the Darya Sangam event on 23rd Mar 2023.

I was also felicitated for Vocal for Local, under Seva Pakhwada Local Artisans of Panaji, for my contribution in the field of Art & Handicrafts by the Hon.
Minister of Revenue and MLA of Goa Assembly,
Mr. Atanasio Monserrate.

Art has always been my passion even though my primary duty remains to be in service of my state and Nation.
For I believe that Art can also influence many like positively giving an overall sense of well being
to an individual and society.
